Kuching mission team on 5-8 March 2009

The mission team on early March (5-8 March 09) was very encouraging to the Kuching disciples. It was the first mission trip after we settled down in Kuching. We are very grateful and felt very encouraged and loved. There were in total about 27 disciples from Singapore coming to Kuching.
We started our evangelism after the 3pm devo on 5th March. We evangelized mainly at The Spring Shopping Centre and Swinburne University Campus. We had a great time just evangelising around as well as studying the bible with people. In the evening we had our dinner together and at the same time celebrated Edwin Tang's birthday at The Spring foodcourt.. After that Stephen & I brought the brothers on a "tour" of our house and hang out at the western restaurant nearby our house. We enjoyed the food as well as the fellowship:)

On 6th March, we continued our evangelism and follow up, focusing more on Swinburne University and the Spring Shopping Mall. We had a great dinner at a seafood restaurant before the midweek service at our house. God blessed us with about 6 friends. We all enjoyed the worship in the house. After service, some of us played "Saboteur" and the rest enjoyed so much of the fellowship.

During the Saturday bible talk, we had catered food. Some of the friends joined us again. We were all well fed by the food before bible talk start. It was a split bible talk. The brothers occupied the master bedroom and sisters were using the living hall for the bible talk lesson. We all enjoyed different board games and fellowship together after the bible talk:)

The Sunday service was at Harbour View Hotel the next day. We had a great service. Phua Hee did an awesome job preaching a great lesson to all of us. We had some friends joining us as well. The singing was great and we all had a blast fellowshipping after the service. On Sunday evening, some of the disciples went back to Singapore but some of them stayed an additional day. On Sunday evening, we spent a wonderful time together at Damai beach and enjoyed seafood during dinner time.

Now, there are ongoing studies in Kuching Church and most of them are Swinburne University's students. Please continue to pray for us in Kuching to have baptisms and reach out to more souls.

Seremban Mission Trip by Singapore disciples on 21st-22nd March 2009

With the sacrificial hearts of the Singapore disciples from East sector, Desmond & Maureen's zone, they left Singapore on Friday night and reached Seremban only 2am on Saturday after a long drive all the way.. However, we had a great breakfast, (I hope so..) and thereafter the African brother, Ivan and 5 of his friends (Michael, Obad, Tabonga & Toziani) joined us for morning devotion and evangelism.. We had a great morning devotional at City Park, Seremban 2 and splitted two by two for prayer. After that, we divided into 5 groups for evangelism in Jaya Jusco and door to door knocking around Bruce & June's residential area after the prayer for a couple of hours.

Thereafter everyone gathered at S2 Hotel lobby to move on to Bruce and June's house for 'Pursuit of Happyness' bibletalk. We had musical chair game, chinese whisper, signature game & guess who am I... Thereafter, a friend, named Isabel came and joined us. We splitted into two groups for bibletalk, Bruce led one and Choon Lim led the other.

After the bibletalk, we were taking crazy photos outside Bruce & June's house garden (especially for the brothers) while waiting for June's cousin, Nicholas to bring his home cook dinner, delicious chicken bolognese spaghetti.

After our dinner, we celebrated Bruce's birthday to encouraged him. Many Singapore disciples shared about him and also all the Africans expressed their gratitude to him as well of how Bruce reached out to them and being their friend in Malaysia. We had a long day and the Singapore disciples went back to S2 Hotel at 11pm to rest for early morning the next day.

We had breakfast on Sunday morning before service. We started our service at 1030am @Bruce & June's house with Bruce, Celine & Tian Fang as song leaders. The worship singing was great and Alex Tseng did the welcome and prayer. Choon Lim & Pei Shi shared about the cross for us to part-take communion. We had Singapore CCC deacon, Desmond Kok preached the word of God with the same title as the bibletalk, 'Pursuit of Happyness'. We had the 5 Africans as friends for the service.

Lastly, the Singapore disciples went to Malacca for lunch and shopping. Overall, Bruce & June were very encouraged with the Singapore disciples coming to Seremban for fellowship and evangelism. With them joining in evangelism strengthen us in faith and boldness. In total we had 11 contacts and known some of Bruce & June's neighbors. Looking forward for April mission trip by Singapore disciples, West sector, Taskie's zone to Seremban..

Seremban 1st Bibletalk 090117

We suppose to have a bibletalk on 15th Jan in Inti College in Nilai. I reached out to a girl, Sheau Hoon & she was opened to study the bible and promised to come for bibletalk. However she didn't turned up but I hope she's still open to study the bible!

Anyway, God is faithful! We had our first bibletalk in Seremban yesterday, 17th of Jan! What happened was God gave us a disciple in Seremban. There's a brother, Ivan from Uganda Church of Christ came to study in a campus in Mantin (30 minutes from Seremban). He brought his hometown friends to know us and they are believers who are looking for church too. I was sharing with Diana that our church practices discipling. She was so surprised to hear that because her mom told her to find a church that practice discipling.

We drove them from their campus to stay with us for a night. Meng Chun from KL church was very giving! He drove down from KL to join us for the bibletalk despite of his wife not feeling well. We played Saboteur & Bang! before the bibletalk. Bruce shared about the demon-possessed man for the bibletalk. The friends participate well in it. Thereafter, we cooked dinner. Ivan & friends cooked Africa chapatti (Chapatti roll with fried eggs). Then Bruce & I cook simple chinese dish like cashew nut-pineapple chicken & stirfry beef with frenchbeans. I thought I could study the bible with Diana right after dinner but she wasn't feeling well. They stayed a night over at our house.

Today, 18th Jan. We had leftover of Africa chapatti and had them for breakfast. Thereafter we headed to KL for church service. They enjoyed themselves at church and I spoke to Diana that I hope to study the bible with her. She shared that she's very happy to join the church and she told her mom about our church and her mom is excited to visit the church when she comes to Malaysia.

We're very encouraged by God how He blessed our days in Seremban to be fruitful! Our God is an awesome God! He is really with us in Seremban mission!

Welcome to Malaysia Central Christian Church Missionaries blog! In year of 2008 - 2009, Singapore & Malaysia Central Christian Churches had send out 3 missionaries of 5 disciples to Kuantan, Kuching and Seremban with monetary support from Singapore Central Christian Church.

There were mission trips sent to a few towns in Malaysia such as Ipoh,
Kuantan, Kuching, Melaka, Seremban and Taiping since year 2004. (Will appreciate disciples to email us some photos of these mission trips happened for the past few years. Kindly email us the photos to cccmalaysia@gmail.com)

Since then it's always our dreams to setup churches in these states and finally God allowed us to be financially stronger to send out a few missionaries. John Louis would wish to send out more missionaries in years to come throughout Malaysia with God's helps & guidance.

After 2009 Chinese New Year all 3 misisonaries will be inofficially sent off of the following disciples:

Kuantan : Kok Meng, KL church disciple since 2000.

Kuching : Stephen George, KL church disciple since 1998 & his wife, Li Kean, KL church disciple since 2002 and they were married in November 2007.

Seremban : Bruce Tum, Singapore disciple since 1996 & his wife, June Tan, Singapore disciple since 1999 and they were married in February 2004.

We would request every disciples or every visitors on this blog to keep them in your prayers that God will use them in powerful ways to seek and save the lost in the missionary they are involved and that they will have boldness and courage to do God's work to bring glory to Him who is the leader of these missionaries.

To God be the glory! Amen!
